Rune Christiansen

Rune Christiansen is a strategic urban planner currently serving as Byplanlægger at Tønder Kommune since August 2015, responsible for municipal planning strategies and local plan development. Previously, Rune held the role of Byplanlægger at Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq from May 2012 to August 2015, where project management for municipal planning supplements was undertaken in Nuuk and Tasiilaq. Rune's architectural expertise was further developed as Arkitekt and Director at Kitaa Arkitekter from 2005 to May 2012, contributing to significant projects and serving on the board of Kitaa Arkitekter. Earlier experience includes positions as Arkitekt and Afdelingsleder at Kitaa Arkitekter, responsible for notable construction projects in Nuuk. Rune's career began as an Arkitekt at Tegnestuen 6B in Copenhagen, working on residential projects in Greenland.
