Matthew Jakob has extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving as a Firefighter/EMT with Plumsted Township Fire District since December 2009 and as an Emergency Medical Technician with Toms River Police Department since June 2022. Previously, Matthew held various roles, including Firefighter in Upper Freehold Township from February 2019 to August 2023, and held multiple positions at Pemberton Township Fire Department from September 1994 to July 2016, including Assistant Fire Chief and Battalion Chief. Additional experience includes supervisory roles at STAT Medical Transport and Vanguard Healthcare Management, as well as EMS Chief at Browns Mills Emergency Squad. Matthew's early career involved positions such as Dispatcher and Technician III, demonstrating a strong foundation in emergency medical services and firefighting. Matthew received education from Kean University.
