Puneet Goel is an experienced technology executive with a focus on engineering leadership and product development in high-growth environments. Currently serving as GM of Upmarket Foundations at Block since July 2023, Puneet leads a cross-functional team of approximately 225 members, focusing on innovative products for the QSR/franchise market and customer insights. Prior roles include Head of Engineering at Square, where Puneet directed around 500 engineers and was instrumental in product launches that significantly contributed to revenue. Puneet also held senior engineering roles at Yahoo!, Flurry, and GREE, leading the development of major mobile applications and advertising platforms. Puneet holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
