Ves Stoyanov has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Ves is currently the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Tome, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to their current role, they worked at Facebook for 9 years, starting in January 2013. During their time at Facebook, they held various research positions, including Applied Research Manager, Research Scientist in Applied Machine Learning, and Research Scientist in Search NLP. Before joining Facebook, Ves worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University from October 2009 to December 2012. Ves also pursued a PhD at Cornell University and worked as a Senior Software Developer at Jodange Inc. For their early career, Ves was an Application Developer at Morgan Stanley, where they were responsible for the full production cycle of small software projects.

From 2002 to 2009, they dedicated their time and effort to pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
