He has a track record of building successful commercial programs and developing global brands. Before joining Tomahawk Strategic Solutions, John had a consultancy helping companies working in the government sector to develop strategic road maps and formulate executable plans. He leveraged his experiences to help clients avoid costly pitfalls and navigate the government market space. With a background in sales, marketing, and product development, he was able to help build commercially successful programs that exceeded the needs of his customers.
John spent eight years at Arc’teryx as the Global Commercial lead for the LEAF Program. In that capacity, he built a strategy that expanded the program to special mission units globally. He established a strong distributor and dealer network around the globe and managed regional sales forces. Domestically, he and his team established a strong B2G, B2B, and D2C network, allowing customers multiple ways to procure needed goods. Following Arc’teryx LEAF, John worked for Patagonia on the Lost Arrow Project, helping to stand up a commercial network and global distribution to government agencies and special mission units.
John lives in the coastal town of Kennebunk, Maine, and has a 16-year-old son.
