Piyush Mittal is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Tokopedia since October 2019, Piyush has spearheaded innovative solutions such as high-concurrency platforms for new product launches and flash sales, as well as an affiliate platform for influencers. Prior to Tokopedia, Piyush held the position of Director at MakeMyTrip, focusing on the Hotels technology team, where significant achievements included dynamic pricing and scaling the hotel's platform to double business volume. As a co-founder and CTO at MyRefers, Piyush contributed to creating a platform that connects professionals for job opportunities. Earlier roles include AVP Engineering at 1mg, Technical Architect at Location Labs, and various positions at Letsbuy.com, Pinelabs, HSC, and Aricent Communications. Piyush holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
