Toshi Hirashima (Toshihiko)

Toshi (Toshihiko) Hirashima has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Toshi (Toshihiko) began their career at Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (now Shinsei Bank) in 1992, where they focused on corporate finance and successfully revitalized a branch's performance. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Portfolio Manager and Alternative Investment Officer at Fujitsu Pension Fund, achieving top quartile performance in the industry. Toshi (Toshihiko) then joined Fujitsu's Corporate Strategy Office, where they worked on corporate venture capital investments and global business strategy. In 2006, they moved to Citigroup as the Director of Citigroup Principal Investments Japan Co., Ltd, responsible for various investment areas. Finally, they joined Tokio Marine Asset Management in 2010 as a Senior Portfolio Manager and later became the Head of Research Hedge Fund, overseeing investments totaling billions of dollars.

Toshi (Toshihiko) Hirashima began their education journey with a High School degree from the Junior & Senior High School at Komaba, University of Tsukuba from 1981 to 1987. Toshi (Toshihiko) then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance, General from The University of Tokyo from 1988 to 1992. Later, Toshi attended the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree.
