Thomas Allen is a dedicated music educator and composer with extensive experience in teaching, performing, and curriculum design. As the founder and teacher at Thomas Allen Piano Studio since 2015, Thomas aims to foster musical excellence and community engagement among students of all ages and levels in Hoboken and NYC. Currently serving as an instructor at Togetherhood, Thomas teaches Musical Theater and Group Piano while developing new courses in Composition and Conducting. With a freelance composition career since 2007, notable works include pieces for string quartets, piano, and orchestral arrangements. Additionally, Thomas has a rich background as a pianist and accompanist for various institutions and events across multiple cities. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Music from Indiana University and ongoing studies for an MA in Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
