Helena Walsh-Stewart is an experienced Programme Manager currently at uMed since October 2023. Previously, Helena held the position of Project & Site Contract Manager at Illingworth Research Group, overseeing negotiations for clinical site agreements and serving as a strategic contact for contracting goals. Helena's extensive background includes leadership roles in research and innovation at Barts Health NHS Trust and Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, where responsibilities included managing clinical trials and ensuring compliance with research governance. Additionally, Helena has contributed to the NIHR Clinical Research Network in various capacities, enhancing research activity across multiple divisions. Education includes training from the Chartered Management Institute between 2019 and 2021.
