Maxime Friess is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors. As the Co-founder and CEO of Emerald Stay®, a certified B Corp managing premium vacation rentals and technology software, Maxime oversees a portfolio of over 200 exclusive properties in prime locations. Additionally, Maxime serves as an Investor and Advisor at toddl.co, Europe’s first SaaS for education businesses. Previous roles include External Member of the Executive Committee at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Co-founder and General Partner at LifeTree Capital SA, and Commodities Trader at Trafigura and Standard Chartered Bank. Maxime began a career in real estate at BNP Paribas Real Estate and JRI & Partners while pursuing formal education at ESSEC Business School, with a focus on management and finance.
