Emma Blanks currently serves as an Academic Engagement Coordinator Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where responsibilities include mentoring student sustainability interns and reestablishing the Resident Advisor Sustainability Representative program. In addition, Emma has been a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at SafeSplash Swim Schools since February 2021, leading numerous swimming lessons for children and maintaining a safe pool environment. Previously, Emma held the position of Senior Assistant Swim Coach at Waterford Homeowner’s Association, where a successful volunteer program for teenage swimmers was developed. Additionally, Emma gained experience as a Sports Marketing Intern at Wake Forest University, focusing on marketing plans and community engagement for NCAA athletic programs. Emma is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, having also studied abroad at Universidad de Belgrano in Spanish, Economics, and Political Science.
