Ron Oren is an experienced professional in innovation policy and technology strategy, currently serving as an Innovation Policy Advisor at TNO since October 2021, where the focus is on research into innovation ecosystems and consultancy for the Dutch government and European Commission. Ron has also held various roles at Connected Places Catapult, including Solutions Architect and Strategic Futures Team Lead, emphasizing data-driven innovation and foresighting activities. Previous positions include co-founding Testudo Innovation, working as a Senior Analyst at Transport Systems Catapult, and serving as a VP of Development at Orphidia Ltd. Ron holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and multiple master's degrees in the same field, showcasing a strong academic background complemented by extensive industry experience.
