René B. is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management, privacy, and security. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at TNO since January 2022, René oversees projects related to self-sovereign identity. Prior to TNO, René worked at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) from January 2016 to January 2022, first as a Coördinator Privacy & Security focused on GDPR compliance and later as a Product Owner for identity management. Earlier roles include Advisor for e-Government at Antwoord voor bedrijven, Project Manager at NVWA, and Press Officer at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. René B. holds an MSc in Cyber Security from Leiden University and a degree in History and Political Science from Radboud University.
