Marissa Hoekstra is a researcher at TNO since May 2020, with previous experience as a project officer at Nuffic and in various roles within Gemeente Den Haag, including project staff for elections. Earlier experience includes a role in the Digital Society team at TNO, a student assistant in parliamentary research at Universiteit Leiden, and an internship in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focused on security policy and crisis management. Marissa Hoekstra holds a Master's degree in International Relations: Global Conflict in the Modern Era and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Organisations with a specialization in Political Science from Leiden University, along with an exchange program at the University of Calgary in Political Science. Education concluded at 't Atrium with a bilingual VWO diploma.
