Jaco van Meijeren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain innovation, specifically within freight transport and logistics. Since August 2006, Jaco has served as the Senior Lead Consultant at TNO, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced technologies and practices to enhance efficiency and sustainability in logistics. Jaco has held various roles at TNO, including Manager of Smart and Sustainable Logistics and Senior Business Consultant, contributing to research projects aimed at optimizing logistics through digitization and automation. Additionally, Jaco is involved with TKI DINALOG as a member of the expert group on Multimodal Transport Corridors and the Program Manager for Synchromodal Transport, fostering collaboration in logistics research. Earlier experience includes a director role at Transport & Mobility Leuven and consultancy positions at NEA Transport Research and Training. Jaco holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
