Breno Perlingeiro is a scientist currently employed at TNO since February 2023, focusing on the design and assembly of optical systems, Laser Satcom, and the development of quantum communication subsystems. Previously, as an intern scientist at TNO from May to November 2022, Breno contributed to the development and analysis of optical systems for Quantum Key Distribution. Breno's academic background includes a Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, where research centered on applied electromagnetism and quantum communications. Additional experience includes a role as a methods and process analyst at americanas s.a., where Breno monitored software projects, and as a scientific initiation student, developing an autonomous system that contributed to published research at the Photoptics 2019 conference. Breno's early involvement in AeroRio PUC-Rio included project analysis and electronics system development.
