Andreas Reinicke is a Lead Scientist in Well Technology at TNO, with prior experience as Project Manager for AGS and Novel Drilling Solutions at ETH Zürich. Reinicke has a strong background in the geothermal energy sector, focusing on innovative drilling technologies and economic assessments. Previous roles include Project Manager for Subsurface THM Optimization and Geosciences at Nagra, where Reinicke developed methodologies for THM processes and conducted model-based performance assessments. Additional experience at Shell Global Solutions involved leading initiatives for natural materials in well abandonment and novel stimulation concepts. Reinicke began a research career at GFZ German Research Centre for Geoscience, investigating geomechanical challenges in gas shales and geothermal reservoirs. Educational credentials include a PhD in Geomechanics from the University of Potsdam and a Master’s degree in Geophysics from Technische Universität Berlin.
