Dirk Jan Swagerman is an experienced technology leader specializing in system and software development, currently serving as Chief on Demand Innovation & Technology at Buffadoo since November 2020. With a rich background that includes leadership roles at Philips, where Dirk Jan led the development of digital pathology and imaging technologies, and extensive experience in software engineering management at FEI Company, Dirk Jan has consistently focused on innovation and system integration. Dirk Jan also contributes to education as a trainer in system integration and system thinking at ESI (TNO) and the High Tech Institute, and serves as a member of the program committee for the International Conference on Software Engineering. Dirk Jan holds an Executive Master of Business Innovation from TIAS School for Business and Society and multiple academic qualifications in computer science and engineering.
