Janet Maxwell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sign language interpreting and the wine industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Tive since January 2024, Janet has also held the position of Ambassador at Boisset Wine Living since 2015, promoting exclusive wine club memberships. Janet's interpreting career includes roles as a Sign Language Interpreter at the University of California Santa Barbara and as a Medical American Sign Language Interpreter at Stanford Health Care from 2014 to 2021. Prior to that, Janet operated as a Certified Sign Language Interpreter in a self-employed capacity from 1988 to 2014. Educational background includes a degree in Interpreter Preparation from Western Oregon University and studies in Viticulture at Las Positas College.
