Pumla Maswanganyi is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Co-Founding Partner and Author at African Life-Centric Design since February 2024, and as a Director at by lue., a design agency co-founded with other creatives. Pumla is also a Partner at Maswanganyi, Muyanga + Co, contributing to the development of African Life-Centric Design principles. Additional roles include Inclusivity Board Member at Soho House & Co, Chief Strategic Advisor and Chief Strategy Officer at Jara, and Advisor at The Roddenberry Foundation. Pumla is a Resolution Fellow with the Resolution Project and a participant in the UNLEASH Innovation Lab. Furthermore, Pumla is a Youth Caucus Member of the African Women Leaders Network and previously served as an Innovation Strategist for the Board of Innovation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Globalisation and Development from Maastricht University, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in African Identities and Fine/Studio Arts from St. Olaf College.
