Thomas Karounos serves as the Global Head of Building & Hospitality Technology at Tishman Speyer since May 2018, overseeing all global technical operations and responsible for staff augmentation decisions. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Senior Director of IT Support & Engineering at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from August 2003 to May 2018. Additionally, Thomas has extensive experience as a Systems Engineering consultant at MWE Systems Consulting, working with major clients such as AT&T and Pfizer, and has held various engineering and support roles at MetLife, IBM, and Dreyfus. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University between 1990 and 1994.
