Maarten Raaijmakers - de Booij has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as the Co-founder & Chief Supply Officer at Tiqets.com since October 2013. Prior to that, they co-founded Mijn Register B.V. in November 2007 and held the position until January 2015. Maarten also founded Minus3 in March 2006, where they remained until 2014. Before that, they co-founded Splandigo BV in June 2004, and worked as a Designer at RapidSugar from January 2003 to June 2004. Their career began in 2000 when they founded Shampoohorn Interactive, where they worked until June 2004.

Maarten Raaijmakers - de Booij began their education at dominicus, where they obtained their Vwo diploma in 1997. Maarten then went on to attend Maastricht University from 1997 to 1998, where they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Rechten / Rechten en rechtswetenschappen. Continuing their academic journey, Raaijmakers - de Booij enrolled at HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) from 1998 to 2001, earning their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Digital Media Design. Finally, they attended the University of Portsmouth from 2001 to 2002, completing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Digital media design.
