Gemma Retal has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. They started their career in 2017 as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at the universitas indonesia robotic team. In 2019, they worked as an Internet of Things Engineer at FXMedia / FXMWeb for a brief period. In 2020, Gemma joined Kargo Technologies as a Frontend Engineer and stayed there until May 2021. They then worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Bitwyre from July 2021 to August 2022. Currently, Gemma is employed as a Frontend Engineer at TipTip, starting in September 2022.

Gemma Retal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Indonesia, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Prior to attending the University of Indonesia, Gemma attended Dharma Putra from 2013 to 2016, although the degree name and field of study for that period are not specified.
