Aurélien (Aurel) BEAUFILS started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at OPEN, where they primarily worked with languages such as C#, ASP, XSLT, Javascript, and Cobol. After 6 months, they were hired by Euro Information Developpements (EID) as an external service provider. At EID, they held various roles including Software Engineer, Technical expert for the development of C# solutions, and Information Technology Project Manager. In these roles, they contributed to the development of a cross-organization platform for Credit Mutuel Bank's new products, provided technical support and supervision for a department of developers, and worked on designing and implementing features for bank account management systems. Aurel then went on a sabbatical leave starting from 2020. Aurélien (Aurel) is currently employed as a Senior Backend Developer at TipRanks since November 2021.
Aurélien (Aurel) Beaufils pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Raoul Follereau High School in Belfort, France, where they completed preparatory classes for French "grandes écoles" - highly selective higher education establishments. Subsequently, they enrolled at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, studying from 2001 to 2004. Here, they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur, equivalent to a Master's degree in industrial and mechanical engineering. Moving forward, in 2005 and 2006, Aurélien attended the University of Strasbourg, France, where they achieved a Master's degree in computer science. Their studies at the university encompassed computer programming, software engineering, database management, and web development.
