Sam Cobbs is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. Since March 2018, Sam has held multiple senior roles at Tipping Point Community, including Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Program Officer. Prior to this, Sam served as CEO of First Place for Youth from December 2005 to March 2018. Additional experience includes the role of Associate Executive Director at Juma Ventures and Program Director at Larkin Street Youth Services from 1997 to 2005. Sam earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology and Organizational Development from California State University - East Bay between 1997 and 1999.
