Kelly Young-Silverman has a varied work experience. Kelly began their career in 2007 as a Sales and Service employee at MetroFresh. In 2008, they became an Administrative Assistant and Assistant to the Director of Experience at JWT Atlanta. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an Account Manager for both EyeWonder + MediaMind and Cardlytics, Inc. In 2009, they joined Cakebaby Productions as a Writer, Director, and Producer. In 2013, they became a Freelance Screenwriter and in 2014 they began writing children's books for Evie and Knox Stories. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Teacher at BUCKHEAD PREPARATORY SCHOOL, LLC and The Lovett School. Additionally, they have been a Tinkergarten Leader and Teacher since 2016.

Kelly Young-Silverman's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Armstrong State University from 2001 to 2004, followed by an internship at Actor's Express from 2005 to 2006.
