Maegan Martin has diverse work experience in engineering and project management. From 2017 onwards, they have been working as a Project Engineer III at Timmons Group, where they have led and designed stormwater management systems for various residential, industrial, and commercial projects. Maegan has also worked on projects in multiple municipalities such as Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Stokesdale, Burlington, and Elon. Prior to this, in 2016, they worked as a Quality Control employee at Mears Group, Inc. Lastly, from 2014 to 2015, they served as an Assistant at Silo Run Golf Course.

Maegan Martin completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which they obtained between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Surry Community College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree, specializing in Biology and Physics. Additionally, they received their High School Diploma from Surry Early College in 2013.
