Wessel Ploegmakers serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at multiple organizations including Unik System Design, Sensire Ltd., TimePlan Software, Oiva Health, Blika Solutions AB, Björn Lundén AB, Alfa eCare AB, and Pointsharp AB. Since May 2014, Wessel has been a Partner and co-head for the Nordics at Main Capital Partners, also contributing as a Senior Investment Manager and Business Analyst/Investment Manager. Previous leadership includes a position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Denit from January 2018 to September 2020. Wessel holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by an exchange period in Accounting and Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics. Additional educational experiences include a summer program in Financial Markets at The London School of Economics and a foundation in engineering at Delft University of Technology.
