Herculano Aníbal Alves developed his professional career in the financial market, working as an executive in companies such as Grupo Bradesco, Banco ABN AMRO, Unibanco and Banco Bozzano Simonsen. He is currently a member of the fiscal council of Cielo SA and Grendene SA and of the Finance and Risk Committee of Marfrig. He is also a member of the Board of TIM Participações SA and of its advisory committees, namely the Legal Audit Committee (as a Financial Specialist) and the Control and Risk Committee. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from PUC-SP and a Master's degree from the São Paulo School of Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP/FGV), with extension at Kellogg. His academic background also includes education in Risk, Compliance and Governance from KPMG's Risk University.
