Ypatia holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a M.Eng. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Her primary interests include complex systems engineering, networks and security. Prior to joining TileDB, Ypatia has mainly worked as a software engineer for Cisco Systems, focusing on building and testing large-scale wireless networking equipment. In her free time she is a regular amateur theater group member.
