Karen Huoth is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of Litigation for the US and Canada at TikTok since April 2021. Prior to joining TikTok, Karen held various roles at Hulu from August 2013 to April 2021, including Vice President of Litigation & Intellectual Property and Senior Counsel. Karen also practiced law as a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from March 2009 to August 2013 and as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from October 2005 to February 2009. Educationally, Karen earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Washington.
