Doven Yap is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in seller acquisition, program management, and project engineering across various industries, including social commerce, fintech, and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Seller Acquisition & Incubation and Category Manager at TikTok since September 2022, Doven is instrumental in expanding TikTok Shop in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, Doven held the position of Program Manager at Visa, overseeing a SaaS solution for merchant enrollment, and served in key operational roles at Lazada, focusing on campaign efficiency and category growth. Doven co-founded Effortless Trade, a cross-border B2B e-commerce company, and held roles in project engineering and commercial engineering at GE and Capitol Gravure. Doven holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Monash University.
