Tierra Group International, Ltd. (Tierra Group) was formed in January 2012 by Matt Fuller, CPG and Pete Kowalewski, P.E. to create a small, client-focused group of professionals primarily offering civil, geotechnical, and water resources engineering consulting services to the mining industry. Matt and Pete combined bring over 45 years of experience providing services to the natural resources and mining industries.

Tierra Group International, Ltd.’s (Tierra Group) founding principle is to earn our client’s professional respect and friendship by providing practical consulting advice and innovative engineering design expertise. Accomplished through focused, personal client-engagement, Tierra Group develops practical yet innovative solutions, and delivers results focused only on our client’s needs. Tierra Group does not desire nor proclaim to be “all things to all clients”, rather “we only do, what we do”, and we strive to do it better than our peers, every day.

Teamwork is the foundation upon which Tierra Group was formed, and is the cornerstone of everything we do. Tierra Group successfully accomplishes projects by uniting clients, colleagues, and coworkers with directionally focused execution plans.

Tierra Group is headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado with additional offices in Salt Lake City, Utah; Elko, Nevada and Lima, Perú. Tierra Group has broad experience providing our expertise to mining projects ranging from very small to some of the largest in the world, has successfully completed projects on six continents, and are willing to go wherever needed to support our clients’ needs.
