Achinta Mitra serves as the President of Tiecas, Inc., an industrial marketing and consulting company based in Houston, since April 1987. Prior to this, Achinta held a management position at Geotest Engineering, Inc. from April 1984 to February 1987. Achinta Mitra earned an MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, and Management from Kent State University Graduate School of Management between 1980 and 1982. Additionally, Achinta received a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, completing the degree in 1980. Early education was completed at Cathedral and John Connon High School, where Achinta obtained an ISC (O Levels) in Science with Advanced Mathematics.
