Purnanand Sarma currently serves as Strategic Advisor/Consulting CEO at GelMEDIX and President-Elect of TiE Boston, with a prior role as Chairman of the Board at STALICLA. From June 2019 to October 2023, Purnanand held the position of President & CEO at Immunome and was also a Board Member at Vaxess Technologies during that time. Before Immunome, Purnanand was President & CEO of Taris Biomedical from July 2010 to January 2019, leading a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on genito-urinary tract diseases. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at Cephalon Corporation and various leadership roles at Nektar Therapeutics, where significant advancements in pharmaceutical development were achieved, alongside earlier positions at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Purnanand holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Minnesota and a B. Pharm from Andhra University.
