Eirik Eide is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime and shipping industries. Currently serving as a Senior Chartering Officer at Tidewater since August 2023, Eirik has been instrumental in developing company strategies and managing chartering operations. Prior to this, Eirik co-owned Shipshave AS as Chief Commercial Officer, playing a vital role in its transition into commercial phases and driving its growth in sustainable shipping technology. Eirik's experience includes leadership roles as Area Manager for Damen Shipyards Group, Marine Operations Supervisor and Contract & Performance Analyst at bp, Chief Commercial Officer at Bourbon Offshore Norway, and Senior Shipbroker at Seabrokers Group. Eirik’s career began in naval operations, having served in various capacities with WesternGeco and Østensjø Rederi, following a notable tenure as an instructor in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Eirik holds a BS in Nautical Engineering from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.
