Peter Martin currently serves as the Executive Director of the Tides Foundation, a position held since May 2018, where Peter leads initiatives focused on social justice, human rights, and sustainable development. Previously, Peter occupied roles at Social Impact Strategies as Principal, Hirsch & Associates, LLC as Senior Managing Director, and The Sierra Club Foundation, where Peter served as both Executive Director and Advancement Director. Peter's earlier experience includes a leadership position at Kaiser Associates, specializing in strategic management consulting for major corporations. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Virginia and has also studied at the University of Valencia.
