Preeti R Nair is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, compliance, and diversity initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Director at TIAA since March 2022, Preeti previously held the position of Executive Director at Nomura from December 2006 to March 2022. At Nomura, responsibilities included overseeing domestic corporate legal, secretarial, employment, and transaction matters, while also acting as Data Privacy Officer for the firm's Indian entities. Preeti has been a strong advocate for diversity, leading initiatives such as the Women in Nomura Network and the LGBT & Allies Network. Prior legal experience includes positions at Kochhar & Co. and Dave & Girish & Co., focusing on commercial and property law, loan documentation, and legal due diligence. Preeti holds an LL.B from Govt. Law College.
