Caren Lock serves as an Advisory Council Member for the Dallas Mavericks since November 2022 and has held the position of Regional Vice President & Associate General Counsel of Government Relations at TIAA since October 2007, managing legislative and regulatory issues across seventeen state governments. Previously, Caren Lock has worked as General Counsel for EFA Processing, L.P. and DSA Inc., and gained experience as an Associate Attorney at Darrell W. Cook & Associates and Kern & Wooley, as well as a Senior Trial Attorney at Baron & Budd, P.C. Caren Lock began a legal career as an Attorney at Allstate. Caren Lock earned a JD from Baylor University School of Law between 1992 and 1995.
