Amaiya Bowers is currently a Data Science Intern at Medtronic, specializing in natural language processing (NLP) since June 2024. In addition, Amaiya serves as a TMCF Innovation Fellow with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and has been a Career Fellow Prep with Management Leadership for Tomorrow since May 2022, participating in a competitive professional development program designed for high-achieving diverse talent. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer Internship at Medtronic from June to August 2023. Amaiya is pursuing education at Texas Southern University, starting in August 2020.
