Erik Karud is a Design Engineer at Thule Group since July 2022, bringing extensive experience in mechanical engineering. Previously, Erik served as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at ALTEN Sweden from September 2018 to July 2022 and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at IKEA from September 2021 to June 2022, as well as at Saab from March 2019 to July 2021. Erik's academic background includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Design from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, complemented by experience during a Master's thesis focused on Smart Home products for IKEA of Sweden. Erik's career also features roles including a Summer Engineering Intern at BorgWarner Inc., a trainee and design engineer at Thule Group, and active participation in various student initiatives at Lunds Tekniska Högskola.
