Dr. Williams is the first U.S. physician to have joint training and appointments in both Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, and is a recognized authority on percutaneous heart valves. He serves as Chief of the Division of Adult Cardiac Surgery, Director of the Structural Heart and Valve Program, and Director of Interventional Cardiology at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Williams holds an M.D. and a B.A. from Columbia University. He also completed graduate medical training in general surgery at the University of California (Los Angeles) and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, as well as Cardiothoracic Surgery and Interventional Cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center.
