Mike Harris is an experienced career counselor and coach with a strong background in supporting students across various disciplines, particularly in STEM, Business, Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Currently serving as a Career and Placement Coach at Thrive Scholars since October 2022, Mike provides individual coaching focused on career exploration and skills development. Previously, Mike worked at the University of California, Berkeley, where responsibilities included expanding career services for a diverse student body. Mike's earlier roles at Year Up involved overseeing internship services and managing programmatic experiences for students, complemented by instructional experience in Business Communications. Mike holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and additional qualifications in education and psychology from institutions in South Africa.
