Aracely Duarte Perez is a dedicated student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering at Harvey Mudd College, expected to graduate in May 2028. Aracely has been selected as a Thrive Scholar at Thrive Scholars since June 2022, participating in a prestigious program focusing on college access, success, and professional development for high-achieving, underrepresented first-generation students. Experience includes an Afterschool Elementary Mariachi Instructor role at Ed Musica Inc., where instruction focused on cultural appreciation and confidence-building for low-income, minority students, and participation in the Solar Young Women’s Academy at Solar Turbines, engaging in hands-on projects related to engineering and manufacturing. Additional experience includes work as an ARTS @ WORK Student Intern with A Reason To Survive, contributing to the Dia de los Muertos festival in National City through collaborative decoration builds.
