Ben Kaplan has expertise in data and product within the tech sector, currently contributing to Thrive Capital since February 2022. Previous roles include analytics at GlossGenius and an educational position with Teach For America's Bronx Early College Academy. There is experience in monitoring and evaluation with the National Endowment for Democracy, as well as research positions at the MIT Computational Cognitive Science Group and the MIT Laboratory for Financial Engineering, where Ben was a second author on an academic paper addressing private-sector shortcomings in vaccine R&D. Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering and Anthropology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2019.
