Tyler Morgus has extensive experience in the field of mechanics and strategic marketing, currently serving as the Mechanics Business Unit Leader and Strategic Marketing Manager at Thorlabs since 2007. The Strategic Marketing Group at Thorlabs focuses on acquisitions, business development, market research and analysis, technology evaluation, and tradeshows. In addition, Tyler Morgus has been a Technical Marketer at Sussex County Community College since January 2015 and is an active member of the Board of Trustees, holding positions as Chair since December 2021, Vice Chair from December 2019 to November 2021, and Board Treasurer from December 2018 to November 2019. Previous academic roles include serving as a Physics Professor at East Stroudsburg University from September 2003 to December 2006 and an Adjunct Professor at Lehigh University in 2002-2003. Tyler Morgus earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Lehigh University (1996-2002) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman (1992-1996).
