Jonathan Viray is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in law and software engineering. Currently serving as a Core Contributor at Cortex DAO since March 2022 and as a Software Engineer at APY.Finance since August 2020, Jonathan has demonstrated expertise in both technology and legal sectors. Prior roles include Contract Attorney positions at TransPerfect Legal Solutions and Epiq, as well as Associate roles at Special Counsel and Zhang & Associates, P.C., where Jonathan specialized in immigration law, litigating cases and drafting legal documents. Jonathan's legal career began with a role as a Legal Researcher at the Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Policy and a Summer Law Clerk at the U.S. Attorney's Office. Jonathan holds a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
