Avinash Raj holds an MBA, MDes, and BE with extensive experience in user experience design and strategy. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of User Experience at Thomson Reuters, Avinash leads a multidisciplinary team for a leading Legal Know-How product. As the Founder of payitfwd.design, Avinash established a forum connecting not-for-profits with volunteer designers. Additionally, Avinash has held roles such as Lead Educator in Design Thinking at BrainStation and Principal of UX Design and Strategy at Slalom. Significant contributions to Canada Post included leading strategy and service design for digital initiatives and managing user experience for shipping products. Avinash's earlier roles include founding IndusOrigin and serving as a User Experience Design & Brand Manager at Thane Direct. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master’s from the National Institute of Design, and a Bachelor’s from PES University. Avinash is also actively involved with the Sophia Hilton Foundation as a Board member.
