Alyssa Hokanson is a UX Designer currently employed at Thomson Reuters since January 2022, focusing on the design and enhancement of the legal research product Westlaw based on user feedback from legal professionals. Previously, Alyssa worked at Optum as a UX Designer, contributing to projects aimed at improving tools for medical professionals, including remote appointment functionalities. Alyssa gained foundational experience in user experience design and research as a student at Prime Digital Academy, where a group project involved creating a design strategy for community engagement among tech professionals. Earlier career roles included administrative support at Envoi, LLC, and a Human Resources Generalist position at Target, where responsibilities spanned office management, recruitment, and employee training. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota and a User Experience Design Certification from Prime Digital Academy.
