Danielle Schmidt is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Thomson Geer since August 2011, Danielle holds comprehensive HR responsibilities for the Brisbane office of the national commercial law firm. Prior to this, Danielle worked as an HR Project Consultant at Energex, focusing on project outcomes and team coordination, and held the position of Human Resources Manager at David Jones, overseeing HR functions for up to 1400 staff across Queensland. Additional roles include Senior Advisor for Workforce Management at the Department of Transport and Main Roads and Human Resources Consultant at The Salvation Army Employment Plus, providing support to a diverse employee base. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources, English, and Anthropology from the University of Queensland.
